Occasionally, if I really like a poem, I learn it by heart. I'm not sure why really - it's probably a family thing: my father and older sister can both recite many poems. Here is me reciting my favourite poem - The Raven by Edgar Allen Poe. I learned it about a year ago. According to Lisa Simpson, it was considered to be scary in its day but nowadays it doesn't seem so compared with modern horror stories. It doesn't bother me that she's right - I like it for its rhythm as much as anything.
